Beechwood continues to rake in the reviews, including one proclaiming the album to be “ The kind of record rarely heard since the prime of The Ramones and The Cramps, it truly doesn’t put a foot wrong.” Wow, you can’t get better references than THAT! By the way, BEECHWOOD was brought to us and managed by none other than our friend Cynthia from the B GIRLS. (Former BOMP band) She and Isa came for a visit recently and it was wonderful to reconnect with her and meet Isa, we consider them both family. The rest of the band should be coming to Los Angeles soon too, with any luck. They are trying to set up a tour for later this year, lots of interest from the booking agents.

RADIO BIRDMAN -LIVING EYES (ROCKFIELD VERSION) (2CD)
-Label:CITADEL Living Eyes' was recorded at Rockfield Studios in Wales during a break in the band's 1978 tour of Britain and Europe. Relations between members were falling apart and Sire had dropped the band prior to the start of recording. Their breakup soon followed. Initial releases were cut from a tape dub of trial mixes as the band never received an official master. Red Eye Records retrieved the master tapes from Rockfield in 1995 and the album was remixed. The second CD contains the original Rockfield tracks remixed for the Redeye Records CD reissue, outtakes and the 1989 12-inch EP 'More Fun'. CD $21 SKU:19468

SPIES-ST (Greek garage-beat band 1968)-Label: ANAZITISI The Spies was the name of a Greek garage-beat band that back in the day, we're talking 1968, released one sole 7-inch. The two rare tracks of that single are now reissued on this cool LP, together with four previously unreleased studio cuts from 1969, and a few live cuts from 1972. Though the sound quality of those live contributions isn't exactly great, they definitely do have historical value. This deluxe LP, issued in a limited run of 350 hand-numbered copies on 180-GRAM VINYL, comes with a fully laminated cover and a 4-page LP-sized insert offering background info and photos.
