Ever since the Stooges' third album Raw Power, appeared, there has been some question about the contribution made by its producer, David Bowie. While waiting for Bowie to show up, various mixes of the album were done by Iggy himself. He played these for quite a few people, including over a local Detroit radio station. Fans ever since have speculated as to the sound the Stooges really wanted us to hear. In this album, we've assembled many of the varying mixes that have been in circulation, and included the radio broadcast in its entirety as well. Now we can all hear for ourselves and make up our own minds.
