Two legendary giants of the blues captured live at the 1973 Ann Arbor Blues & Jazz Festival. Pianist Roosevelt Sykes plays and sings "Dirty Mother For You," "Night Time Is The Right Time," "Driving Wheel" and other classic songs he first recorded in the 1920s, 30s and 40s. Blues queen Victoria Spivey contributes terrific versions of her own early masterpieces "Black Snake Blues," "Detroit Moan," "Low Down Man Blues" ("You're a rank stud") and others, with backing by the Brooklyn Blues Busters.
